Unique DFC1 switch, The Dual Float and Controller is for any manual pump. It turns on the pump when water lifts the float switch 1/4", and runs the pump for an additional 10 seconds after the float drops, to completely empty the low area / sump pit once the float returns to its original position. DFC1 has a 10FT cord with piggy back plug. Set the switch housing at any height to get a corresponding On / Off level. For further peace of mind the switch has a Dual float which acts as a backup to the main lower float should it get stuck the second one takes over. Industrial strength electronics, 30 amp relay means extended life compared to ordinary float switch. ON level point is 3/4" from its bottom surface. DFC1 is not rain proof, requires enclosure if exposed to the elements.
