Sealless pump Explosion Proof motor, Magnetic Coupled Pump

The March TE-6K-MD XP (3-phase) is an all-Kynar (PVDF) sealless magnetic drive pump paired with an explosion-proof 1 HP motor rated Division 1, Class 1 (Group C/D) and Class 2 (Group F/G), built for hazardous-location chemical transfer. It delivers up to 29 GPM at heads to 35 feet (15 PSI) on 230/460V three-phase power. Kynar wetted parts resist a broad range of aggressive chemicals and solvents, while the magnetic coupling eliminates the mechanical shaft seal — an important safety feature when combined with the explosion-proof motor for pumping flammable liquids like biodiesel feedstock and solvents. Built for continuous duty to 190°F with a ceramic shaft and carbon/graphite bearings, this 3-phase version is well suited to facilities running three-phase power that need both chemical resistance and hazardous-location motor ratings

The impeller magnet assembly floats in the radial magnetic field set up by the motor driven external drive magnet. The impeller is designed to deliver the maximum flow & pressure utilizing the available strength of the synchronized magnets.

The standard diameter impeller is suitable for water-like liquids to 1.1 specific gravity. Liquids having a higher specific gravity can be pumped if the overall diameter of the impeller is reduced, the outlet flow is restricted, or the restrictions from a filter or other head loss is sufficient to keep the impeller magnet in synchronization.
