- Flux Inline Water Boosting Systems by Calpeda Pump include a water pump and an electronic controller which are used in residential applications when it is necessary to boost the city water pressure. They are easy to install, require no scheduled maintenance, do not need a pressure tank on most installations and include protection against running dry.
Operation: When a tap is opened and the water demand exceeds the minimum starting flow*. Flux starts the pump and keeps it running, delivering constant flow, even when the capacity request is low. Flux control stops the pump when the demand is below 0.5 GPM. In case of a leak in the system (less than .5 GPM) the Flux Control will not start the pump avoiding useless power consumption. Ideal for average to large two story homes or long runs of plumbing. Five water outlets can be operated at the same time without substantially reducing performance.
Multistage Water Pressure Booster Pump systems are an economical, lightweight, compact booster system designed to increase domestic ( drinking ) water pressure in residential, commercial and industrial applications where low or varying water pressures exist. The Hydrascan Control module starts the water pump as soon as the water faucet is turned on and operates continuously until the faucet is shut off eliminating fluctuations in water pressure. 304 Stainless Steel pump casing with Noryl plastic impeller provide corrosion resistance for clean, great tasting water and low maintenance-trouble free operation. 8 ft. line cord & plug for simple and easy installation.
