The March TE-MDX-MT3 XP is a compact, low-horsepower magnetic drive pump built from Ryton (PPS) with FKM elastomers, paired with an explosion-proof motor rated Division 1, Class 1 (Group C/D) and Class 2 (Group F/G) for hazardous-location service. It delivers up to 8 GPM at heads to 17 feet (7 PSI) on 115/230V single-phase power, with a maximum fluid temperature of 200°F — higher than many comparably sized mag drive pumps, thanks to the Ryton construction. Its small footprint and fractional-horsepower motor make it well suited to bio-medical equipment, photographic processing systems, biodiesel production, and general chemical manufacturing where space is limited but hazardous-location safety is still required. As with all March mag drive pumps, the magnetic coupling eliminates the mechanical shaft seal, reducing leak risk in flammable-fluid service. Explosion-proof classifications and installation must meet NEC and local code requirements.
