The March 809-PL-HS is a Ryton (PPS) plastic-bodied magnetic drive circulating pump, rated for flows to 8 GPM. This inline (in/out) version runs on 24V DC, high-speed power. Ryton's high-temperature tolerance makes this pump a popular choice for circulating hot wort at or near boiling temperature in home and nano-brewery setups, as well as general hydronic and solar-thermal circulation. Because it's a fully sealless magnetic drive pump, there's no mechanical shaft seal to leak, and the motor can be removed for service without draining the system. Made in the USA.
Applications for the 809-PL-HS 12V & 24V Magnetic Drive Pump include hot water systems, solar heating, and fryers.
Models are available for use on 12 and 24 volt DC systems (for uses such as heating systems on public buses) as well as 115 or 230v AC systems (popular for use in domestic, industrial and commercial hot water solar heating applications). Because the motors can be removed without draining the system, service is greatly simplified. Larger pumps are available with either flange or threaded inlets and outlets. Seal-less Magnetic drive.
