March beer chuggger pump is magnetic drive unit built specifically to handle hot wort and water.The unit requires liquid being pumped to lubricate the internal parts. If the pump is run dry for a period of time the impeller and shaft may become damaged. To regulate the flow use a valve on the discharge/outlet.

Polysulfone magnetic coupled pump. Motor is ODP 115v with grounded cord. Motor is UL recognized.

Connections are hose barb. 0150-0202-0100. Used in small 'Nano' commercial brewery where the 809-PL-HS series is too small but you don't yet need a full on expensive professional brewery pump. Homebrewing Tips: 1. Great for Whirlpooling 20 gallons of wort or more. 2. Ideal for Chillus Convolutus Counterflow Wort Chiller. Impeller is 0150-0173-0200

Do not be fooled by China imitations like model TD5 Steelhead (was suppose to be stainless steel) made by topsflo and sold in the USA at low prices. These pumps are DC (shorter life) motors with a 115v AC transformer along with what guarantee do you have that the metal is lead and other contaminant free?
