The March 335-CP-MD pairs the compact, high-pressure Series 335 sealless magnetic drive pump with an explosion-proof 1 HP motor rated Division 1, Class 1 (Group C/D) and Class 2 (Group F/G), for use in hazardous duty atmospheres. Like the standard Series 335, it's built for applications that need real pressure from a low flow rate — up to 68 feet of head (29 PSI) at flows to 12 GPM — in a compact, corrosion-resistant polypropylene housing with FKM elastomers. Because the pump is magnetically coupled rather than shaft-sealed, there's no mechanical seal to leak, adding an important safety margin when combined with the explosion-proof motor for pumping flammable liquids. Typical applications include biodiesel production, chemical transfer, compatible-solvent handling, and filter systems where both pressure performance and hazardous-location safety are required. Rated for continuous duty to 190°F with a ceramic shaft and carbon bearings.
