Flooded Suction Pump

In flooded suction pumps, the liquid feeds them using gravity. Priming a pump is crucial to its operation. They are installed towards the bottom of the liquid so that the pump is fed using gravity. A flooded suction pump is easy to start and stop because its chamber and piping are always filled with water.
