The Flojet 18555-000 DC portable waste pump is theideal solution
for emptying holding tanks on recreationalvehicles and avoiding
dump stations. The maceratorsection grinds waste down to a particle
size of1/8" maximum so it can easily be pumped through agarden
hose. Empties a typical 40-gallon holding tank inless than 5
minutes. Do not run more than 15minutes continuously.The
18555-series waste pump will macerate and pumpall waste and tissue
normally found in recreationalvehicle waste systems. IT WILL NOT
HANDLE HARDSOLID OBJECTS, SANITARY NAPKINS OR RAGS.
- Detects the absence of fluid then shuts-off pump before impeller is damaged.
- Sensor provides a 16 - 20 second run-dry period to allow initial priming of pump.
- Interrupting power supply to the macerator resets the Run-Dry Device.
- Complies with USCG 183.410 and ISO 8846 MARINE (Ignition Protection).
