Models SSP & SSPC pumps have a one-piece shell, capable of
supporting the pump and motor weight in a vertically mounted
position. The internal design also prevents any air from being
trapped in the pump case when mounted vertically. These pumps do
not have a volute design casing, which can put a radial load on the
motor bearing; and no diffuser to plug up, wear out, or replace.
The SSP is an open impeller pump while the SSPC is a closed
impeller pump, which will have a higher efficiency & pressure
capability.
This is a PEO and mounts to a 2 HP NEMA 56J threaded motor -not included.
