Models SSP & SSPC pumps have a one-piece shell, capable of
supporting the pump and motor weight in a vertically mounted
position. The internal design also prevents any air from being
trapped in the pump case when mounted vertically. Often used in commercial process chillers, evaporator fluid recirculating STAINLESS STEEL pump. These pumps do
not have a volute design casing, which can put a radial load on the
motor bearing; and no diffuser to plug up, wear out, or replace.
The SSP is an open impeller pump while the SSPC is a closed
impeller pump, which will have a higher efficiency & pressure
capability.
