SSPC Stainless pumps have a one-piece shell, capable of supporting
the pump and motor weight in a vertically mounted position. The
internal design also prevents any air from being trapped in the
pump case when mounted vertically. These pumps do not have a volute
design casing, which can put a radial load on the motor bearing;
and no diffuser to plug up, wear out, or replace. SSPC is a closed
impeller pump, which will have a higher efficiency & pressure
capability.
Reduced HP for use below 32gpm. Motor is undersized to reduce cost and save energy while using this pump at the right side of its performance curve. Using more than 32gpm will overload motor. For higher flow rates choose model with 2HP motor.
