Sump Pump

Designed with upper and lower ball bearings and a heavy-duty cast iron vortex impeller, the SP33 and SP50 are further enhanced by a stainless steel shaft and Type 21 carbon/ceramic Seals for durability and long life. These sump pump models also feature automatic thermal overload protection and a permanent split capacitor motor with upper and lower ball bearings for longer motor life, greater starting torque and lower amp draw. A piggyback-mounted switch eliminates the need to pull the pump to check for pump failure and can easily be replaced, saving time and money. Adjustable vertical or swing floats are available to accommodate varying conditions.

Another characteristic of the SP33 and SP50 sump pump is their interchangeability with competing sump pump models. The Barnes pump models require no plumbing changes when replacing most competitors' sump pumps like Dayton or Teel sump pump. Dayton, OH.

With 1/2 inch spherical solids capability, the SP33 and SP50 feature maximum flow rates to 50 gpm and 66 gpm, respectively, and shut off heads to 30 TDH. Compact construction makes these pumps capable of fitting into 5-gallon buckets or tray systems.
