Submersible Single phase pumps are with or without a float switch, three phase pumps are without level control. Submersible Sewage pumps will handle large size and quantity solids / trash than comparable Effluent pumps will. Both types are often used as large sump pumps to dewater parking lots, truck loading docks, culverts, dewater pits, elevator shafts, drain basin and other large volume dirty water removal.
