Agitator pumps are designed for use with liquids containing solids
which must be kept in suspension or require constant circulation to
maintain uniform viscosity. A port in the pump volute bypasses a
jet stream of fluid to “stir” tank
contents. A port plug is furnished so that the bypass can be
eliminated when tank agitation is not desired.
Closed column (HRTG model) design. Wetted pump metal parts are Teflon coated. These pumps are also available as part of a pump and round tank system with 2 gallon (HRTG only), 10, 20, or 30 gallon capacities.
HRTG Specifications: 1/8 HP, 1725 RPM, ½” NPT horizontal discharge. Maximum viscosity: 500 SSU.
