3" Self Priming Pedestal Mounted Pump
Water pump frame mounted for PTO or long coupling drive. Solids / debris handling up to 1-1/4" with 3-vane semi-open cast iron impeller. Heavy duty Pedestal mounted pumps are widely used on mobile equipment where there is a PTO drive take off or in industrial applications where it is desired to have the motor set back from the pump.
Moderate high pressure Pedestal pump are often used on water trucks for dust control, irrigation, hydro-seeding, fire fighting. Self priming means they can draft from local water source to fill the water tank. Pump can be powered by vehicle PTO, gas / diesel engine, electric motor.
PTO pumps can be operated at various speeds which in turn provide for a wide range of flow and pressure / head. The shaft HP 2-15 will also vary. When considering a PTO pump consider the weight of the pump and keep in mind a robust heavy duty cast iron pump is going to last a long time.
