Using a common baseplate, frame-mounted pumps and motors are connected by a flexible coupling, which extends the pump's shaft and motor shaft. It has a bearing housing that prolongs the life of the bearings and allows continuous operation with high thrust and radial loads. They are often used on water trucks and other machinery where a separate electric motor or engine is not needed.
