Myers SX50 is a rugged 1/2HP  effluent sump pump designed for many commercial, municipal or industrial applications. The SX50 is CSA listed with construction for use in Class 1, Division 1, Group D hazardous locations. These pumps are designed to pump contaminated water with a wide range of pollutants listed under the CSA listing. 26858E610 PUMP ONLY. NO Panel. To meet Class 1, Division 1 Groups D, F-M requires explosion proof sump pumps be connected to a control panel meeting UL 698A specifications.

• Constructed for use in Class 1, Division 1, Group D hazardous locations.
• Designed to pump contaminated water, with a wide range of pollutants listed under the  CSA listings.
• Oil-filled motor for maximum heat dissipation and constant bearing lubrication.
• CSA listed.
• Recessed impeller reduces radial bearing loads, increasing bearing life.
• High torque capacitor start, single phase motor for assured starting under heavy load.
• Seal leak probes warn of seal leak condition. A double electrode mounted in the seal chamber to detect any water entering the chamber through the lower seal. Water in the chamber shall cause a red light to turn on at the control box. This signal shall not stop motor but shall act as a warning only, indicating service is required. (Optional control box).
• On-winding heat sensors protect motor from overheating and prevents costly motor damage. A heat sensor thermostat attached to top end of motor winding and shall be connected in series with the magnetic contactor coil in control box (Optional) to stop motor if motor winding temperature reaches 221°F. Thermostat to reset automatically when motor cools.
