Berkeley B59539

Berkeley packed B3ZRM Type B frame-mount pumps are designed for the user who has a separate hydraulic power source suitable for driving the pump mounted hydraulic motor (customer supplied). One-piece motor mount casting – Allows for direct coupling to an SAE hydraulic motor for positive alignment and increased reliability. State-of-the-art design delivers in excess of 20,000 hours of bearing life, one of the industry’s longest life cycles. Interchangeable seal housing – Can easily change seals in-field from packing to mechanical or mechanical to packing for increased versatility and ease of maintenance. Often mounted to water tanker trucks or tenders. NOT PTO with shaft coupling. Clockwise Rotation, as viewed from drive end. As pictured

See performance curve for impeller size and RPM performance choices.

Hydraulic Motor Requirements:
The hydraulic motor must have and SAE Standard (SAE J744C) mounting flange and shaft size [B], with 30° involute spline, 13T, 16/32 pitch.

Image does NOT show actual installed hydraulic kit. See images bellow. Does include B07779 Hydraulic Motor Drive Adapter

Other Hydraulic Motor Requirements:
The hydraulic motor must have and SAE Standard (SAE J744C) mounting flange and shaft size [B], with 30° involute spline, 13T, 16/32 pitch.
The hydraulic motor must produce the torque required to drive the centrifugal pump at the desired operating speed.
For the centrifugal pump GPM and TDH, read the required RPM and BPH from the pump performance curve, and calculate the required torque, in Lbs-Ft, as follows:

Torque = (5252) x (BPH) / (RPM)
The hydraulic motor selected must match with the flow and pressure capability of the hydraulic power source system. The operating speed of the centrifugal pump will be controlled by valves in the hydraulic power source system.
