90VDC Motor 1/2HP. Leeson 90 volt DC PMDC electric motor SS56C with base and 56C face for pump close coupling mounting or using a shaft coupling. 5/8" diameter shaft.

Applications: DC motors are typically used is applications requiring motor speed adjustment, constant torque throughout the speed range and reversing capabilities. Applications would include: pumps, conveyors, turntables, textile machinery, treadmills, reeling equipment, sports equipment and medical equipment. High voltage permanent magnet DC motors are typically used with and SCR (thyristor) controller in applications requiring adjustable speed and constant torque throughout the speed range. They are also widely used in applications requiring dynamic braking or adjustable speed/reversing capabilities.

Input power of 115 or 230 volts rectified AC when used with an appropriate SCR control. Linear speed/torque characteristics over entire speed range.
