Engine Powered diaphragm pumps
Diaphragm pumps are positive displacement pumps. They pump
aspecific volume for each pump cycle. Gas or Diesel Diaphragm pumps
move fluidsmore slowly than centrifugal pumps, but can handle mud
andlarger amounts of solids including abrasive materials. They also
tolerateair being drawn into the pump, and can be run dry
withoutdamage. Diaphragm pumps are widely used on construction
sitesto control seepage in excavations, and for pumping septic
systemsand operating well point systems.
Models DP2H and DP3H include Oil Alertâ„¢ to help protect theengine against damage from operation with an inadequate oil supply.Riverside diaphragm pumps feature a straight-through, self-primingdesign. The rubber elastomer diaphragm and flapper valves areeasily replaced on site, and the aluminum pump body keeps weightdown for easier transport.
