Low Level Submersible floor Dewatering Pump 115v Ponstar. Heavy duty floor level dewatering pump. Unique discharge port allows for vertical OR horizontal discharge. No elbow or kinking of hose if horizontal discharge is needed. Unique internal "check valve" keeps the pump wet so that it can re-start pumping in extreme low level conditions compared to comparable pumps. Prime pump through discharge outlet for start up at any water level. Add a PumpBiz level switch for automatic low level operation. Remember that in order to pump so low to the surface the water inlet passage channels are small. Otherwise the pump would loose prime and suck air. Therefore these remarkable floor level pumps are restricted to about 20GPM (1200GPH). Pumps down to the floor. Also can start pumping in less than a inch of water. *SEE IMAGES.

Features:

• Pump down to floor level, within 0.04" approx. 1/16" after initial water hight of 1/2".
• Built-in check valve* keeps liquid in pump and hose eliminating any “back-flow” situations.
• Impeller and casing are manufactured from a blended rubber compound providing maximum wear resistance, up to three times over cast iron.
• Water is channeled through the outer wall to cool the motor for maximum endurance.
• It is compact, light-weight, easy to carry and handle.
• Oil Bathed double Silicon Carbide mechanical seals, in a "oil" filled chamber allows for periods of dry run
• Liquid paraffin is used in the shaft seal, therefore water will not be contaminated even in the case of oil leakage.
• The cord is of uni-body construction ensuring excellent water tightness. Includes strain relief.
• The built-in thermal protector turns off the power supply in case of overload operation thus protecting the motor.
