Finish Thompson: Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is for diesel engine vehicles which use Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) to control NOx emissions. Finish Thompson dispensing systems are easy to use and provide economical, safe transfer of DEF from a variety of containers into the vehicle’s on-board storage tank. FTI products are designed for years of reliable service while maintaining the strict purity requirements for DEF (ISO 22241-3).

Standard Drum pumps: In recent years, the European Union has issued directives such as Euro 4 & 5 which require significant reductions in Nitrous Oxide (NOx) emission from diesel engines. Beginning in 2010, the EPA will institute similar regulations for the North American market. To assure compliance with these new standards, several diesel engine manufacturers have implemented Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems (SCR) which injects AdBlue (AUS 32) to the vehicles emissions.
AdBlueis the registered trademark for AUS32 (Aqueous Urea Solution 32.5%), urea in demineralised water that is clear, non-toxic and is safe to handle. However, it can be corrosive for some metals and must be stored and transported using the correct materials. It is dosed into the SCR system at a rate equivalent to 3-5% of diesel consumption.
