Use the basement watchdog 7.5 hour battery with any of the basement watchdog backup emergency sump pump systems. In most situations the sump pump does not run continuity in your home. It empties the sump pit and turns off until the pit fills up again. This battery can run intermittently for days.

-Will run the Basement Watchdog Backup sump pump Special BWSP & BWD12-120C A/C-D/C Sump Pump Systems for 7.5 hours continuously. It is a standby battery, and it will last longer and perform better than automotive or deep cycle batteries when used with a battery backup sump pump system. Its unique construction allows it to run the sump pump longer (for more hours per charge) and to last from five to seven years in standby service. In addition, it is the only brand of battery that will accommodate the battery fluid sensor, which is an important feature of the Basement Watchdog battery backup sump pump systems. This unique sensor tells you when to add water. Other batteries which are so called "sealed" or "maintanence free" simply mean disposable and you will not get the life out of them.
